hey there! it's great to meet you

One thing that most parents can agree on is that you can never have too much postpartum support- especially when it comes to breastfeeding. When my daughter was born, I was overwhelmed by the challenges we had with breastfeeding, and I struggled to enjoy a period of her life that I had been looking forward to for so long. As a last resort, I reached out to a local lactation consultant who helped us get back on track and put my mind at ease. My whole experience as a new mother turned around as I gained confidence, felt supported, and was empowered to make my own decisions about how I wanted our breastfeeding journey to look.

When my son was born, we navigated entirely new challenges as he had a tongue and lip tie. Working through those issues with him allowed me to dive deep into oral function and how to help other parents through that type of journey since I had also experienced it first hand.

Through these experiences I became very passionate about supporting families through breastfeeding education and support. I have completed over 120 hours of lactation specific education, attended several lactation conferences, completed over 1,000 hours of direct patient care, worked in an outpatient clinic setting as well as private practice, and passed the exam to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. My role now is to educate, equip, and provide tools to help you reach your breastfeeding goals - whether that is 2 weeks or 2 years.

Breastfeeding is about so much more than a way to feed your baby; it is nutrition, connection, and a way to take control of your parenting journey. I am so looking forward to partnering with you and your family
